Halloween is a great time of year, especially for the kids. But think about it, how many adults get dressed up and have their own party?

I know a few.

Each year my family, blood relatives and those who have become part of my “gang” put on a big show of a party. We love to think of new ways to entertain ourselves this one time of year. After the kiddies have gone trick or treating and have gotten their candy fix, we adults put on the party hats and dress up in whatever crazy thing we thought of and have a wonderful night out for big kids!

One year my son in law bought a clean trash can, hid in it and every time someone went to throw away their trash, he would jump up and scare the daylights out of them! It was too funny and he almost got bopped when one of the guys natural reaction was to swing back. We caught his arm just in time!

I hope this blog helps you to have a fun party and I’ll try to include as many shops that I know of that I bought things over the years that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I’ll also include some of my fun recipes that we made too!
